The urban engineer and his role in construction practice

The diploma thesis in its introductory descriptive part defines all the theoretical foundations and contexts associated with the concepts of urban engineering and urban engineer. The theoretical information is followed by the analytical part of the work, which contains interviews with real authorized urban engineers. With the help of the respondents' professional experience, the real role of the urban engineer in construction practice and the activities he should perform in such a role is subsequently formed. In the end, the obtained information is transformed into a practical example, which demonstrates the illustrative implementation of the knowledge of an urban engineer within the real functioning of the practice.

Milíčeves – City in the Landscape

This thesis focuses on countryside and village as a settlement in landscape. It approaches countryside as a whole directly connected to landscape and proposes its dveloppement on the basis of interaction with local comunity as well as on the basis of principals following on local experience. Working with these principals this thesis approaches the village Slatiny-Milíčeves and proposes design of three places somehow important for the village: complex of ancient parish buildings, village square of Slatiny village and new housing developement of Milíčeves village.

Countryside Ever Changing - LE3N8 LEŠNÁ

The goal of the master’s thesis is to return the landscape to the people in the sense of rediscovering wealth in our close neighborhood in connection to the relationship between people and the landscape. The work and theoretical background is used in my place of residence, which is the cadastral area of Lešná, which includes 7 municipalities (Lešná, Jasenice, Lhotka nad Bečvou, Mštěnovice, Perná, Příluky and Vysoká). The basis for the work became a personal relationship to the location and physical research in the form of walking the area in a straight line, along paths and finding connections in the landscape. By simply changing my movement, I was able to perceive my own intense experience, which I rely on in my designs. In the area, I have selected 8 places with a unique character, to which I apply the proposed buildings. Each of these unique places has a name in history, but few people know it today. Through specific architectural designs, I return names to these places and bring them back to life through the people who begin to discover these places.

97 The influence of architecture on constitutional law Abstract This thesis deals with the connection between architecture and constitutional law. Both disciplines can influence each other, and thus reshape their image in people's perception. The architecture and urban planning of the buildings of state institutions are significantly related to national symbolism, to the possibility of identifying oneself with the state, to the behaviour of people in space, to the representation of the powers of these institutions, but at the same time, their appearance is often influenced by political decisions. The aim of the thesis is to find out to what extent architecture influences law. Architecture can represent and materialize the principles on which the state is based. The appearance and layout of a building can influence the functioning of the institution housed within it, while also influencing how the building and the institution is perceived by citizens. This general objective is then developed by analysing the Czech constitutional system, which is characterised as a parliamentary form of government, although there are opinions saying that it is closer to a semi-presidential system. Mělník as the residence of Czech queens

The topic of this bachelor thesis is Mělník, a famous royal dowry town that used to be an essential residence of numerous queens of Kingdom of Bohemia. The focus is on the importance of Mělník throughout history, from its creation in the 9th century to the 15th century. The first two rulers to reside in Mělník were Przemysl princesses Ludmila and Emma. The last queen to ever stay in Mělník was Joanna of Rosenthal in the 15th century. This thesis is dedicated mainly to queens Elizabeth of Bohemia, Barbara of Cilli and Joanna of Rosenthal. The aim is to analyze available historical documents and secondary literature sources and use them to explain the connections of the queens to the town, portray Mělník as their residency and explain its economic and political effects. Arbitration procedure within international business transactions

The diploma thesis on Arbitration procedure within international business transactions focuses on the place of arbitration procedure and its relation to the national system of law. The first chapter is concerned with the dispute resolutions within international business transactions. The thesis characterises the alternative dispute resolutions and defines the term of arbitration procedure within international business transactions. The basic characteristics thereof are specified and the theories which attempt to explain nature of arbitration are described - contractual, jurisdictional, mixed and autonomy theory. The term of the place of arbitration is defined in the second chapter as the real place situated in the territory of a particular state. This place is distinguished from the arbitration seat and from other terms which used to be confused with the place of arbitration. The arbitration seat is deemed to represent legal domicile of the arbitration. The system of law of the seat determines the legal regime of arbitration procedure. Personal status of legal entities in private international law

In today's world, where globalisation and internationalization becomes part of our daily life, international entrepreneurship turns into a more actual and important issue. The role of law in this system is to set borders and give directions, which reflect the current state of global society. The aim of the diploma thesis Personal status of legal entities in private international law is both to clarify the actual legal situation of determining the personal status of legal entities and to find out the current grade of global legal integration in these aspects, that either encourages or prevents legal entities from international activities. In order to achieve that, firstly, a theoretical definition of the historically evolved theories for determination of personal status of legal entities is given. Subsequently, their main be- nefits and drawbacks are analysed. The first part is concluded with a definition of the scope of the conflict between the two main theories - incorporation theory and real seat theory. Additionally possible ways, how to solve this conflict together with their potential impact, are sought. The Reflection of the Nobility on Servants in the Early Modern Resources

The aim of Bachelor thesis is analysis of relationships of Czech nobility with its servants, disputes between them and their life in the aristocratic residence. Although the Czech historians are interested in Czech early modern nobility, they haven't devoted to this topic. The thesis is based on analysis of published sources (primarily of the ego-documents) and specialized literature (mainly literature of "the South-Czech historic school"). The aim is to focus on people, who didn't perform bureaucratic functions, so, the main task is the analysis of the reflection of the nobility on Servants, who were socially unequal with it.
